YIN YOGA

Yang is the flow, the vinyasa part of the class. The class begins by actively practicing yoga poses for 30 minutes. Second part of the class is Yin.

Yin yoga consists of only seated poses and the poses are held for 3 to 10 minutes. Thus, it is aimed to stretch all connective tissues as well as muscles and to heal from blood circulation. Joints, tendons and ligaments as well as the fascia covering our entire body benefit from this effect, which means a meeting with health for our physical body that is in a state of waiting. At the same time, for the mind, which is addicted to the high tempo of the modern world, the act of stopping makes the class meditative.

PRANAYAMA

Prana is the individual and universal life force. Ayama is about expanding this power. It includes practices that enable us to expand and control this life energy we have by spreading it throughout our whole body with breathing techniques. Thus, body health and calming of the mind are achieved. Because breath is also the bridge between the physical body and the mind. Activating the parasympathetic nervous system calms the mind. At the same time, techniques that purify and strengthen the internal organs increase our energy by activating the sympathetic nervous system. Thus we achieve energy balance. The classes are 30 – 40 minutes.
